Traditional Shower Valves
Shower valves are fixed into the shower wall and mix hot and cold water sources to your desired temperature. Some valves are manual and merely control the amount of hot and cold water, others are thermostatic and control the temperature of the water which is output from the shower head. Some thermostatic shower valves have additional safety functions which allows for surges or variations in hot water temperature and safety buttons preventing scalding.
